: 8 Ik Onkār
Designer : Pallavi Foley
Material: 18k yellow gold
Design concept: The jewelry piece is a stylized and imaginative representation of the ‘Ik Onkār’ and has 3 musical beads that dangle from it, depicting our past, present and the future, in three colors of gold.
When you move the beads make a sound and it is meant to remind us that god is with us.
It is a symbol of the unity of God in Sikhism, meaning God is One or One God, and is found in all religious scriptures and places such as Gurdwaras. Derived from Punjabi, Ik Onkār is the first phrase in the Mool Mantar referring to the existence of "one constant divine melody". #ikonkar #pallavifoley @pallavifoley @nationaljeweler #silks #designer #goldentemple #gurbani #waheguru #design #cultures #god #makeinindia #designinnovation #ideas #newcollection
