But if TOO MUCH toxicity exists for any reason, you will get a headache. Toxic blood passes into the brain (purified slightly by the "blood brain barrier", which is why we register the toxicity there, but really, the problem is in the entire system... .

When you fast, a similar thing may happen. During fasting the body will process toxic matter in the system to try and extract energy from it. This is good in the sense that these toxins will enter the digestive system and eventually leave, but bad in the sense that for a period of time, the blood is toxic again, and you may suffer a "healing reaction", typically a headache... once again, this will pass...
