: 15 Cowgirl boots & Christ. // “You’re brokenness is welcome here.” That’s what this sweatshirt says. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done in your life, where you come from, or who you think you are.
It doesn’t matter how unworthy you have felt.
It doesn’t matter how distant you’ve felt.
It doesn’t matter how unloved you have felt.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a bad person, or the very best of the best.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve never read the Bible before, everyone has to start somewhere.
It doesn’t matter if you think you’re beyond saving.
It doesn’t even matter if you don’t call yourself a Christian.
It doesn’t matter how very broken you are, because trust me, we are all broken.
The thing is, It’s all welcome here. It’s ALL welcomed by Christ.
He’s the very one who went to the cross, nails in hands, knowing very well that every single one of you was worthy of His love and forgiveness despite every flaw and every insecurity and every bad thing about you. He knew each and every single one of you had something special in them, something worth dying for.
He knows about all of your flaws, and he welcomes you anyways.
In Mark 2:16, Jesus doesn’t decide to sit and eat with the rich or the ones who have got it all figured out. He sits down with prostitutes, tax collectors, the sick, and the unrighteous. He sits with the sinners, and he doesn’t say “you can’t sit with us.” He says, “I have not come to call the righteous, but the sinners.” YOUR brokenness, is welcome HERE.
