Both mentally and physically I wasn’t in a great place. I put a lot of muscle on but also weight as well. To cut a long story short, over an 8 week period, I stripped away the fat and leaned down. I came off a diet in May and since have been maintaining whilst building muscle and sculpting my physique. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My only goal right now is to work on my weaknesses and to be happy and I can quite honestly say this is the happiest I’ve been with my physique. I have a lot of work to do and a long way to go before I’m where I wanna be but I’m growing, healthy and progressing. My proportions are coming together and my upper body is gradually catching up with my legs. My legs have been my biggest insecurity for as long as I can remember but im beginning to see them as a strong point, not a weakness because im actually very lucky.☝🏼 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Height: 5’8 Age: 21 Calories: 2000-2200 (vary high and low training days) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Training: Weight training 6 days a week. Upper body 2x, legs 1x a week (split between glutes/hamstrings and glutes/quads weekly). Cardio 3x a week. I tend to do 30 minutes stair master or an hour on the bike. I do it mainly for health purposes and state of mind. 💗

: 1 I look a HOT MESS in both pics 😅 but I just had to share these progress photos with yall. The first pic is from a year ago, weighing in at 138.0 lbs. I only did cardio everyday and was on a keto-friendly diet. Body fat was still over 30 percent, and even though I had lost 12 pounds to get to this point, I still wasn't happy with the high body fat percentage. The left pic is one year later (currently) and I'm weighing in at 124.5 lbs, with a body fat percent of 28.0%. Still high, but it reassures me that I'm doing something RIGHT to reach my fitness goals! Weight loss was always the most important factor to me in the beginning, so my only concern was with the BIG number on the scale. But nowadays, FAT LOSS is what drives me. For now, my goal is to hit 25.0% BF pretty soon... then 23.0% after that.. and heck, maybe even 20.0% someday! 👍🏼 But like I said before, this process isn't easy. It's not about being the skinniest, or curviest, or thickest for me. It's about being the STRONGEST and BEST me that I can possibly BE!
